Sporting 1 vs 0 Gent

More than a handful victory for the Europa League!

The Beginning of the game began with a special tribute to Armando Garranha (Basketball Player) and Malcolm Allison (Football Coach), to which the minute of silence for all fans showed respect and clapped.

At 6 minutes of starting the game, Diogo Salomão put the ball in the net with a fantastic pass from Helder Postiga. From there was \o/ a goal party and in the half part Sporting was already winning 4-1! Yes, Sporting suffered a ridiculous goal, but let's not criticize it by Hildebrand, Sporting in the second part didn't come with all the claw, but still scored one more goal!

Fantastic atmosphere in Alvalade from the first to the last minute!
Torcida Verde showed that we are in great SPORTING CLUB DE PORTUGAL, accompanied by dozens of banners!

Here's ou Sporting!!

Sporting 21 x 28 ABC

Sporting Handball Team was not happy when they lost against ABC Braga for 21 vs 28.

Sporting came up well in the game, scoring and always make a difference, to the opposing team start mark, Sporting became disorganized and without understanding why rarely attacked by the edges.

The result reflected the game and of course the "dismissal" by Paulo Faria.

This was the eighth round of the National Handball Championship and the third defeat of our team. So we are in 7th place in the group followed by Belenenses.

Regarding the presence of the Ultras, Sporting can not complain of lack of support, because although not many fans present, who were no longer support.

Sporting 5 vs 0 Levski Sofia

Finally a willingly victory!!
That's the evidence that when the whole team is motivated in no one wins us!
We beat Levski Sofia and José Alvalade Stadium was full, "sorry" all the "supporters" who stayed with her ass at home by choice, and who didn't experience it live!

The only thing that missed was Simon Vuckcevic score a goal, because he deserved indeed!

The whole team should be congratulated, i want to highlight Simon Vuckcevic, Anderson Polga and Postiga, who were very good! Not taking credit of Rui Patricio, Maniche, Diogo Solomão, Matias, Andre Santos, basicallyeveryone!

YES IT IS OUR SPORTING! This rout Europe will not forget!

Sporting 1 x 1 Nacional

Another Miserable Round

We know that a defeat is worse than a lost, but we're talking about Sporting Clube de Portugal, any game that doesn't give us the victory, is a miserable game.

Bad Luck yes, but it is an extreme evil complicity of bad passes and goals missed.
Certainly for us the Simon Vuckcevic 77 was the player with the greatest motivation of glory, and who made Sporting play on this day.

Some parasites are very surprised by Paulo Sérgio have taken the Liedson, why?! In our eyes it was a wise choice. "Levezinho"(Liedson nickname) was not playing well, was replaced. Makes perfect sense to me.

The highlight of the game was Carlos Saleiro amazing Goal, "CS9 also resolves." or less by this time, tried to solve.

On this match were present more than 23 000 fans. I hope they don´t give up supporting the club.

Sporting 0 v 0 Olhanense

Draw in Alvalade                                          SEE PHOTO GALLERY

With the stadium with more than 25 000 people, it was expected a better result against Olhanense (Algarve)
Sporting could have won more 3 more important points and stay in second place in the Championship, but only won 1 Point, keeping then in 3rd place in the Portuguese league table.

Again i don´t understand why does Sporting fail so many passes and where is Diogo Solomão?  Liedson no longer resolves, Carlos Saleiro made a pass to goalkeeper in a clear chance on goal.

I hope the new Sporting's goalkeeper is better than  Rui Patricio defending corners.

I urge all who came to see the Sporting in the stadium, but numbers is only for statistics. Can you imagine at least 10 000 people (less than half of the stadium) singing all together SPORTING!? It would be something else :)

Sporting 0 x 2 Brondby

A game of many mistakes and badluck!                                           PICTURE GALLERY

Sporting faced Dennemark's Team Brondby on the 19th of August in Alvalade Stadium, for Europe League Plays-Off.

A game that turned out to be unhappy, and even unfair. The misfortune is that we refer to three balls at the bar / post and mistakes were made barely passing and shooting into the air.
In our view, Brondby didn't played better than Sporting, but was more happy in finalization and aso played with more intelligence on the technique.

Brondby was winning by 0-1 at halftime and made a substitution, Sporting lose but still didn't change the strategy, Yannick Vuck were the "reinforcements" for the second half but even so, Maniche play alone? is hard!

Another mistake was that fucker of the referee: Robert Schörgenhofer (of Austria!)

We dont like to hear the whistles in the stands unconscionable, after all are not like the fucking Lamps! Postiga went out and fans whistled, why!?

All together we only have a role during the 90 minutes, CALL FOR SUPPORT AND TEAM! Well at least this is our opinion! Of course we were too upset to be losing, but dont you think that instead of whistling when the opponent scores a goal, we would sing even higher for the spiritual strength of the players was not another? (They donot deserve? Is it, but deserves the SCP, if they say on TV what we want to hear even though in reality they are cagarem is upon us, because we do not sing for them? Even if it is all a big crap we want is that the Sporting win!) and also do not think before the other fans we were not well regarded?

Forward loads here to see photos from the game, and we'll post the video!

Handball Final Cup

Handball weekend in Tavira

On a visit to the Algarve, we were hoping to bring another cup for our club but Sporting surprised us.

Saturday June 26th, Tavira's Pavillion at 5pm.

Sporting started losing against St. Bernard 5-1 ... a bit of disappointment for those who went to Tavira to see our Sporting! Still have not lost hope and we knew we'd be in the range advantage and that's it was just lack of concentration or overconfidence of players.

End of game, Sporting won St. Bernardo and is well calculated for the Cup Final in Portugal.

RESULT: St. Bernard 19 x 27 Sporting

S. L Merda 2 x 0 SPORTING

Costinha: ‘I demand respect for Sporting’

Speaking from the press room at Estádio da Luz, Sporting’s director of football was on hand to give a few words, while also stating that no other Sporting figure would be talking: “My first words are for the Sporting fans that were here, who supported the team to the fullest right until the end of the game. Other than that, I ask whoever watches this game to pay attention to the tackle from Luisão two minutes into the second half and to compare it with that of Marat Izmailov last week and that of João Pereira in the Sporting-Benfica League Cup game. Rules should always be the same for every team. Sporting Clube de Portugal is a great institution and I demand respect for the Club.”

Carlos Carvalhal: ‘An obvious red card’
The Sporting coach took a moment to analyse the game with Benfica, stating that “the first half was dominated by Sporting, with us controlling the game and having the better opportunities. In the second half, the opposite happened and there effectiveness was decisive. We didn’t finish things when we could have but Benfica did. We have some good chances against a good team, we are on the right track and we played some good football that I am happy with. I don’t like to talk about referees, but we cannot close out eyes to what is happening in Portuguese football: It is easy to send of a Sporting player, but today we saw that it is not like that for everybody. Two minutes into the second half, Luisão could have been shown what was an obvious red card, that has to be said!”

Carvalhal finished off by leaving a “word for the fans that were with us cheering us on during the game. They were very enthusiastic and we thank them for that”.

João Moutinho: ‘Luisão and Izmailov tackles are comparable’

The Sporting captain gave a few words following the clash at the Luz, stating that “in the play in which Luisão went through the back of Liedson when play was stopped, he said he slipped. However, we all saw what happened and Izmailov was sent off for a challenge less serious than that. The two tackles are comparable. Today sums it all up: fouls on Sporting players are not given whereas any touch by a Sporting player is given. It looked as if the pitch was on a hill that the referee was always pushing us down. After that, Benfica grabbed the win. This season has to be seen as a sad one for all of us, but we have to live with that and work to make the future better.”
